The process of sending Bangladeshi workers to Singapore is currently managed through a very limited number of recruiting agencies. Singapore has authorized only 14 Bangladeshi recruiting agencies and 6 training centers to be involved in this worker deployment process. Notably, only 6 Overseas Training Centers (OTCs) are officially approved by Singaporean authorities for training workers heading to Singapore.
Recruitment process for sending workers to Singapore is being heavily controlled by a small group of organizations. Only a limited number of 14(fourteen) Bangladeshi Recruiting Agencies together with 06(six) training centers are permitted to send workers to Singapore.
It is to be mentioned here that, only 14(fourteen) approved recruiting agencies are authorized by the Government of Singapore to send Bangladeshi workers to Singapore in different sectors. The details of the recruiting agencies are given bellow:
It may further be added that, 06(six) overseas training centers (OTCs) based in Bangladesh are approved by the authorities of Singapore for training of the prospective workers bound for Singapore through the above mentioned 14(fourteen) recruiting agencies. In order for safe and meaningful migration, the Government of Malaysia opted for employing Bangladeshi workers through a limited number of Bangladeshi recruiting agencies. Among the 14 (fourteen) recruiting agencies those are sending workers to Singapore, 03(three) of them are also included in the approved list of the Government of Malaysia for sending Bangladeshi workers to Malaysia.
